River Revitalization Plan

For nearly a decade, the Truckee community worked diligently to create a River Revitilziation Plan to help build a strong center for the community along the Truckee River in downtown. The plan is focused on creating a re-envisioned river corridor that creates public access to the river, diverse housing, and commercial uses that complement the watershed. MAP was a very active stakeholder in the ten-year process from 1995-2005, advocating for the improvement of our natural resources and watershed through restoration, redevelopment and alternative land uses that improve the water quality of the Truckee River.
