Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and enjoy protecting our local environment and community. Special Events & Fundraising
Do you have creative ideas, enjoy working with a team, and have a passion for the environment? Then, the special events and MAP’s development team needs your help! As a volunteer, you can be involved in fundraising, planning, production, and follow-up on various events.
Photographer
Are you a thriving photographer? We need local Truckee Tahoe pictures of recreation, town, and the community for outreach and publications. Volunteer your local photography and we will credit you and create your canvas.
Marketing/Public Relations
If you have experience in social media, public relations, or marketing we could use your help in our outreach, communication, and PR materials for our advocacy campaigns, outreach, and events.
Tabling/Community Outreach
We are growing our community outreach efforts and are always looking for outgoing people to help out at local booth events such as Truckee Thursdays, chambers business mixers, earth day events, and many more. If you like getting out in the community and boasting about local conservation and preservation work get involved in our outreach efforts.
