Earth Day with MAP at Tahoe Truckee Earth Day Festival
Rescheduled Due to Weather
With the forecast calling for 4+ inches of snow and wind all day long, MAP will not be attending the Tahoe Truckee Earth Festival at Palisades, but the festival is STILL happening, so if you are out enjoying some late spring powder, go check it out.
We hope you're staying warm and safe on this snowy Saturday! Our final FREE screening of the Wild & Scenic Film Festival will be rescheduled for this summer. Stay tuned for details in the coming weeks. We canβt wait to share our curated program and raffle with you when the sun is out again!

Thank You Wild & Scenic Festival Guests
A huge thank you to the 250 guests who attended the 9th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival at the Fox Cultural Hall this past weekend. Your presence and support were instrumental in making this event a success. We were thrilled to see so many MAP members, friends, and new faces at the event in Kings Beach. If you attended the event and supported the raffle, be sure to check out our raffle winner list below. At the end of Earth Month, MAP will share with all our supporters, all the new members we have recruited through the festival and targeted outreach during Earth Month, and the dollars raised to support our current priority conservation efforts!
If you missed the festival and the films, donβt worry. You have one more opportunity to get inspired with MAP at the Tahoe Truckee Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 26th. We will have a booth in the Village at Palisades and showcase all nine films in the Alpenglow Room with two FREE film sessions for Earth Day attendees. The first film session is at 11 am and the second at 4 pm. Earth Day is for everyone, so we encourage you to learn more about the Tahoe Truckee Earth Day, mark your calendars, and share the FREE festival with your friends and family.
