MAP will host the 14th Annual Sierra Forage Dinner on Saturday, August 10th, at a NEW venue, Micthell’s Meadows near Independence Lake, for a truly majestic experience in the Sierras dining under the stars, celebrating conservation, community, and raising critical funds to support grassroots environmental advocacy. MAP’s 13th Annual Sierra Forage Dinner was a success! Our mountain community didn’t let a little wind, rain, and lightning get in the way of celebrating 36 years of environmental advocacy! The Sierra Forage Dinner is centered around the ideology of good food shared by good people who give back to the environment and community! We are thrilled to feature a locally sourced and ethically curated vegan, organic menu prepared by the Sallah sisters of Noisettes. Michelle and Mary are a dynamic sister team, bringing culinary talent and passion for small-scale agriculture to tables in Tahoe.

The Sierra Forage Dinner will feature music by longtime Tahoe musicians Sean Duerr and Kurt Beckering. Both Sean and Kurt bring decades of instrumental and vocal talent, playing in Tahoe bands such as Dead Winter Carpenters, No Deal, Rusty Strings, The Inaproprraitors, Tahoe Flow Art Rock Operas, and more! Enjoy a fun-filled evening of Americana and folk music in the majestic mountains while celebrating environmental advocacy, community, and good food!
LIVE AUCTION
Support MAP's mission by participating in the live auction at the Sierra Forage Dinner. This year’s event will feature a live auction and a matching opportunity to support MAP’s fundraising goals. We plan to auction exciting recreational experiences, outdoor gear, entertainment, travel, and more! By bidding in the auction or supporting the MAP match at the dinner, guests are helping to fuel MAP's priority advocacy campaigns to protect open space and advocate for responsible development. We can't wait to share more about the auction and match as we get closer to the event!

Through the generous support of longtime supporters, past Board members, and current Board members, MAP has secured a $35,000 match to help raise critical funds for our mission-driven work and priority conservation campaigns. We had a wonderful evening reconnecting with longtime MAP members, new supporters, and our conservation partners.
