protect open space

We seek to protect open space through land use advocacy. Since 1987, we have helped protect 6,000 acres, from Martis Valley to Donner Summit.

Support our community

MAP’s work supports our community by advocating for responsible development, workforce housing, parks, transit and other innovations.

save tahoe

Help us Protect our Mountains and stop Martis Valley West, a housing project that would replace 662 acres of forest on Brockway Summit with ridegeline development, in a high severity fire danger zone.
