Trout Creek Pocket Park

Truckee’s first pocket park is located in Historic Downtown Truckee on Trout Creek, at the corner of Bridge and Jibboom Streets. Prior to restoration in 2016, the site was an environmental disaster with crumbling asphalt and pollution flowing into Trout Creek, a tributary of the Truckee River. For over ten years, MAP worked with the Town of Truckee and many regional conservation stakeholders to plan the restoration and create the pocket park. Conservation goals for the park include protecting our regional drinking water, maintaining a healthy wildlife corridor and creating a sustainable park for the community and visitors.
